About Me

My name is Rob Yardman. I am a Web Application Developer and Information Technology junkie living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have experience in a variety of areas of technology including Ubuntu Linux systems administration, graphic design, video and multimedia production and a whole range of other things. I have worked as a 3D architectural designer using programs like AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, and 3D Studio Max.

Over the past eight years I have gained extensive working knowledge with video/audio production and editing with Sony’s Vegas Video. I have also worked with image and graphics manipulation using Adobe Photoshop. Along with that I have gained a world of experience developing web pages and optimizing graphics and media for the Internet. Ultimately my passion is in computers. Whether it’s developing a website or testing out the latest open-source application I’m always somewhere in the mix. Wherever it all may fall in the wide spectrum of computer technologies, I’m in there somewhere.

This is my blog, my small neck of the internet. I’ll talk about various technologies and life itself. I’ll also be posting some of my amateur photography.
