A few weeks ago I took a drive up to Hyde Park National Forest/Sangre De Cristo Mountains here in Santa Fe, New Mexico and took around 200 photos with my Nikon D60. I had a lot of fun and got to rediscover an old hobby of mine, photography. I hadn’t had a nice DSLR camera in a long time and it was a really cool experience to get out and snap a few picture of the beautiful Northern New Mexico scenery and sunset.
The day was awesome. Light rain and clouds surrounded the Santa Fe and Los Alamos areas and just as the sun was setting down everything cleared up perfectly. It was a much needed break for me to get away and enjoy the calming silence of nature. Enjoy the pictures!
