The WordPress blog is officially up

Ok so the WordPress blog is officially up. Thanks to a friend who highly recommended WordPress; and that I finally get away from Joomla.

First off, I really appreciated Joomla. I liked the fact that it did A LOT. Seemed the capabilities were endless and once I got down the customizing of templates and being able to build my own, I was able to really put together a great blog.

Now things are different and I’m looking for something on a more professional level that I can offer to clients. Something that’s user friendly and not going to completely collapse when I install an add-on. I won’t go into my issues with Joomla except the fact that too many of its third-party components were commercialized and sometimes a little too expensive. That’s as far as I’ll go into that. I am anxious to get things rolling with WordPress.

Anyhow, this is it for now since it’s late and I obviously need my sleep.
